The Court
The Court of Arbitration serves as the supervisory body responsible for the administration of arbitration proceedings conducted under the institution's Rules. Its role is to ensure that cases are managed with procedural fairness, efficiency, and integrity.
The Court does not decide disputes. All disputes are determined exclusively by arbitral tribunals appointed for each case. The Court's responsibilities include the appointment and confirmation of arbitrators, determination of challenges, and supervision of procedural aspects of the arbitration process.
Through its oversight, the Court ensures that proceedings remain neutral, balanced, and aligned with internationally recognised arbitration standards.
Secretariat
The Secretariat is the administrative arm of the institution responsible for managing the day-to-day conduct of arbitration and mediation proceedings. It supports the Court, the parties, and appointed tribunals by administering filings, communications, and procedural logistics.
The Secretariat registers new cases, monitors procedural timelines, and ensures that proceedings are conducted in accordance with the Court's Rules. By providing consistent administrative support, the Secretariat enables arbitrators and mediators to focus on the resolution of disputes.
